Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Delhi: Welcome to India’s Historic Capital +

Your journey begins in Delhi, the capital city of India. When you arrive at the Delhi airport, our representative will welcome you and help you transfer to your hotel in a private car. After a long flight, this day is kept easy and relaxed.

Delhi is a city where ancient history and modern life exist side by side. Wide roads, government buildings, busy markets, and old Mughal monuments all share the same space.

Depending on your arrival time, you can rest at the hotel or take a short walk nearby to get your first feel of India’s energy.

Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2 Full Day Exploring Old and New Delhi’s Heritage and Culture +

Today is dedicated to exploring Delhi’s most important landmarks. The city is divided into Old Delhi and New Delhi, and both areas show different chapters of India’s story.

You begin in Old Delhi with a visit to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Built in the 17th century, it has a massive courtyard and tall minarets that offer beautiful city views.

From there, enjoy a fun and exciting rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk. The streets are narrow, colorful, and full of shops selling spices, fabrics, and sweets.

Later, explore New Delhi. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, a stunning red sandstone tomb surrounded by peaceful gardens. This monument later inspired the design of the Taj Mahal.

Continue to Qutub Minar, a tall brick tower built in the 12th century that stands as a symbol of early Islamic architecture in India.

Drive past India Gate, a war memorial built to honor Indian soldiers. You will also see the Presidential House and Parliament buildings from outside.

After a full day of history and culture, return to your hotel.

Overnight in Delhi.

Day 3 Drive to Agra and Discover the Symbol of Eternal Love +

After breakfast, you will drive to Agra, which takes around 3–4 hours on a modern highway. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire and is home to some of India’s most beautiful buildings.

The highlight of the day is visiting the breathtaking Taj Mahal. Built in white marble by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, this monument took 22 years to complete. The fine carvings, gemstone inlay work, and perfect symmetry make it one of the most admired buildings in the world.

You will also visit Agra Fort, a large red sandstone fort that once served as the royal residence of Mughal emperors. Inside, you can see courtyards, halls, and rooms where history was made.

Optional: In the evening, you may visit Mehtab Bagh for a quiet sunset view of the Taj across the river.

Overnight in Agra.

Day 4 Journey to Jaipur with a Stop at the Abandoned City of Fatehpur Sikri +

On your way to Jaipur, you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri, an old Mughal capital built entirely from red sandstone. This city was built by Emperor Akbar but later abandoned due to water shortages. Walking through its grand gates, royal halls, and open courtyards feels like stepping back in time.

After exploring Fatehpur Sikri, continue driving to Jaipur, known as the Pink City because many of its buildings are painted in pink tones.

Jaipur was carefully planned and built with wide streets and beautiful markets.

Arrive in Jaipur and check into your hotel. In the evening, you may explore the local bazaars known for handicrafts, jewelry, and textiles.

Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 5 Discover the Royal Grandeur of Jaipur’s Forts and Palaces +

Today, you explore Jaipur’s royal heritage. Begin with a visit to Amber Fort, located on a hill outside the city. The fort has large gates, mirrored halls, and royal rooms. You can reach the entrance by jeep or optional elephant ride.

Next, visit City Palace, Jaipur, a beautiful complex that still houses the royal family. The palace has museums displaying royal clothes, weapons, and artwork.

Continue to Jantar Mantar, Jaipur, an outdoor observatory with large stone instruments used to study stars and time. Drive past the famous Hawa Mahal, a pink building with many small windows where royal women once watched street life without being seen.

Return to your hotel after a full royal day.

Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 6 Scenic Journey to Udaipur, the City of Lakes +

Today you travel to Udaipur. The drive takes around 6–7 hours through parts of rural Rajasthan, where you may see villages and hills.

Udaipur feels different from the other cities. It is peaceful and surrounded by lakes and hills. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Pichola. The sunset views of palaces reflecting on the water are unforgettable.

Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 7 Explore the Palaces, Temples, and Gardens of Udaipur +

Begin your day at City Palace, Udaipur, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Built on the edge of Lake Pichola, it offers stunning views and beautiful courtyards, balconies, and museums.

Visit Jagdish Temple, a Hindu temple known for its detailed carvings. Then explore Saheliyon-ki-Bari, a peaceful garden with fountains and marble pavilions built for royal ladies.

From the lake, you will also see the famous Taj Lake Palace, which appears to float on the water.

Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 8 Departure with Beautiful Memories +

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Your tour ends with memories of forts, palaces, markets, and peaceful lakes.

What our customers say

Most Asked Questions by our Guests.

Is 8 days enough to see Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Udaipur properly? +

Yes, 8 days is well planned and comfortable. The itinerary is designed so you do not feel rushed. Travel days are balanced with sightseeing days. We schedule early starts when needed and allow relaxed evenings where possible. You will see the main highlights in each city without feeling like you are running from place to place. If you ever want a slower pace, we can customize it, but the standard 8-day plan works very well for most travelers.

Is Udaipur worth adding to the Golden Triangle? +

Yes, absolutely. Udaipur adds a peaceful and romantic ending to your tour. After busy cities like Delhi and Jaipur, Udaipur feels calm and scenic. The lakes, palaces, and sunsets create a perfect balance. We carefully schedule your time there so you can relax and enjoy the views without rushing.

Do I need to worry about the driver’s return cost? +

No. We clearly include or explain all transportation costs in advance. If your trip ends in Udaipur, we manage the driver’s return arrangements. There are no surprises. Everything is planned before your tour begins.

How do I avoid tourist traps in Agra and Jaipur? +

We understand this concern. We work with trusted drivers and licensed guides who do not force shopping stops. We brief our team clearly that shopping is optional only. If you would like to shop, we take you to reliable places. If you prefer no shopping, simply tell us — and we handle it. You will never be pressured.

How much cash should I carry for monument tickets? +

We provide guidance before your trip about current entrance fees. Most major monuments accept card payments, but we recommend carrying some Indian Rupees for convenience.

Should I visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise or sunset? +

We arrange sunrise visits whenever possible because mornings are cooler and less crowded. We organize early pickup from your hotel and guide coordination. You do not need to manage tickets or timing — we handle everything. If weather conditions require a timing change, we adjust accordingly.

Is winter fog a serious issue at the Taj Mahal? +

In December and January, there can be morning fog. If visibility is low, your guide will adjust timing when possible. We monitor local conditions and plan the best possible visit. Even with light fog, the Taj Mahal remains a beautiful experience.

Is this tour safe for solo female travelers? +

Yes, it is safe when arranged with professional services like ours. You will have a private driver, licensed guides, and hotel assistance. We select safe, centrally located hotels. Our team remains reachable throughout the trip. You are never left to figure things out alone.

What clothing should I pack? +

We recommend modest and comfortable clothing. Shoulders and knees should be covered when visiting religious places. Comfortable walking shoes are important because monuments involve walking. We send a packing guide before your trip so you know exactly what to bring.

How do I avoid getting sick from food or water? +

We recommend drinking sealed bottled water, which we provide in the car daily. We guide you toward clean and trusted restaurants. If you have dietary needs, we inform hotels in advance. Basic precautions keep most travelers comfortable throughout the tour.

Is street food safe to try? +

Street food can be delicious but should be chosen carefully. If you are interested, your guide can suggest safe and popular vendors. If you prefer to avoid street food, we recommend reliable restaurants instead. You decide your comfort level — we assist accordingly.

What is the dress code at Jama Masjid and temples? +

At mosques and temples, shoulders and knees should be covered. Scarves are helpful for women. If needed, coverings are available at some sites. Your guide will always inform you beforehand so you feel prepared and comfortable.

Are monuments very crowded? +

Some monuments can be busy, especially during peak season. That is why we schedule early visits when possible. Our guides help you move smoothly and avoid long lines when available. Proper timing makes a big difference, and we plan carefully.

Is this tour suitable for first-time visitors to India? +

Yes, it is one of the best introductions to India. It covers history, architecture, culture, and scenic beauty. The route is well tested and traveler-friendly. Since we manage hotels, drivers, guides, and coordination, first-time visitors feel comfortable and supported.

Can the itinerary be customized? +

Yes. You can upgrade hotels, add extra nights, include different cities, or adjust pacing. We create a plan based on your preferences. Everything is arranged for you from start to finish.

What is the best time to travel? +

October to March offers pleasant weather. Summers can be hot, but tours are still possible with early morning sightseeing. We help you choose the best travel dates based on your comfort.
